Introducing Tim Kane, Director of Military & Veteran Services.
Tech One IT, a leader in technology staffing, IT solutions, and technology apprenticeship services, announced today that Tim Kane, a U.S. Army veteran and experienced military liaison, is joining the team. He will serve as the company’s Director of Military & Veteran Services.
In his role, Tim will be rolling out the Technology Apprenticeship Program (TAP) to the military and veteran community. The intention is to expand upon the success of Tech One IT’s apprenticeship program by training and placing more service men and women in valued technology jobs. Tim will also oversee Tech One IT’s SkillBridge component, serve as a liaison to the Transition Assistance Program & Education Services offices on military installations, and lead efforts in business development, and evangelism in the military-connected community.

Tim served in the U.S. Army, transitioning to veteran status as a staff sergeant 31U after more than 10 years of duty. Throughout his career he has developed a reputation as a transformational leader focused on the career readiness of veterans. He has developed educational programs K-12, provided higher-education strategies designed to enhance a student’s career search posture and post-hire professional development, and worked as a military liaison for several educational institutions.
