Enterprise GIS Administrator

Our Client is seeking an experienced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Administrator to support and maintain the Client's enterprise GIS technical environment, map/data services and mapping applications. The GIS Administrator is responsible for installation and upgrades of ESRI ArcGIS server and client software. Administration duties shall include: GIS architectural design, implementation, database support, application development, troubleshooting and problem resolution, day-to-day maintenance, system upgrades, configuration management and system maintenance activities. The GIS Administrator is required to work closely with city department GIS professionals, system engineers, architects, application developers and operational teams during GIS technical architecture review and design considerations to meet current and future business objectives. This position must comply with existing policies, document new policies/standards and conforms to change management processes. The ideal candidate must have experience in installation, administration and support of ESRI ArcGIS (10.3 and greater), ESRI related software tools/modules, and working knowledge of windows server operating systems.

3 years of current ESRI and server GIS software and platform experience, including ArcGIS Server and ArcSDE (Oracle and SQL Server) and Portal
3 years of experience in ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro
3 years of progressive experience in IT system administration and information technology solution delivery
Experience with Oracle and Oracle Spatial 11g or greater databases
Experience in SQL scripting and/or programming
Experienced in security/access strategies for a wide pool of user groups and access requirements
Proficient in Python and batch scripting
Ability to cultivate professional relationships with business partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills working across multiple technical domains and teams
Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, systems engineering, geography or a related technical field. (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)

Strong skills in ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Data Store and Web Adaptor setup and configuration
Experience with ArcGIS Online and Web Application Builder (WAB)
Experience working with ETL tools such as FME
Experience in Java script
Experience with ArcGIS license servers
Understanding or experience with virtual environments
