ASP.NET Core Developer
This job requires an ASP.NET developer who is self-motivated and a good team player with core skills to work on a project that follows Agile methodology. A suitable candidate will possess minimum of 5 years web development experience using Microsoft .NET stack. This job heavily involves utilizing the following technologies.
Agile, DevOps/TFS
jQuery/JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap
ASP.Net Core using C#, Razor pages, Entity Framework Core - Code First approach, LINQ to objects/Entities, Microservices/Web API Services
SQL server (T-SQL), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Any work experience with Election application will be a plus.
Day to day job duties include but not limited to:
Analyze the existing client server applications. Work closely with Client's IT department and Client department staff to gain knowledge and understanding of the existing applications and infrastructure.
Meet with Client stakeholders to gather user stories and to go over the systems analysis.
Communicate Findings with Sponsors via scheduled meetings as needed. Document findings and proposed solutions which are to be shared with Client stakeholders.
Work in a team environment to re-write existing applications and/or develop new applications to ensure a seamless integration of new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems during elections and maintain data structure and integrity.
Use TFS/DevOps to capture user stories, use cases(UAT) for user stories, source code, task times, bugs following the Agile methodology.
Use ITS Enterprise Change management process for production deployment(s).
Do code reviews with the entire team involving Client technical staff.
Shall deliver weekly project status reports to the IT lead and the Client Clerk.
Shall deliver presentations to ITS and Client Clerk departments and/or audiences as requested to provide an overview of the engagement, provide status updates, and to communicate findings.
Be a good team player with strong communication skills, verbal and written.
