Application Developer UX Designer Role 
Experience/Skills: 
• 5 or more years' experience in UX
• Experience working in agile
• Bachelor's degree in design or similar discipline or comparable experience preferred
• Firm grasp of the following software:  Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; Sketch; InVision; Flinto; Axure
• Sound understanding of web design issues, including browser usability and cross-platform capability
• Responsive design and ecommerce experience
• Experience working with Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design
• A penchant for details and organization, including the ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress and meet deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides digital asset and overall visual design direction for digital user experience work
• Produces digital artifacts based on inputs from multi-disciplinary team while adhering to State Farm Digital Style Guide and Standards
• Provides visual concepting support to multi-disciplinary teams
• Produces clean, creative digital visuals that are consistent with State Farm brand strategy
• Articulates User Experience (UX) concepts and solutions and advocates for customer-centric designs
• Ensures visual design adheres to the project requirements, objectives and timelines
• Provides exceptional graphic design skills with attention to detail
• Executes on digital experience design projects – from concept through to production
• Creates visual design concepts based on input from multi-disciplinary team
• Works directly with business teams and other User Interface team members to create rapid visualizations of business requirements during working sessions
• Creates high-level and detailed visual digital artifacts, such as high-level wireframes, interaction flows, detailed wireframes, screen specifications based on minimal direction
• Creates visual assets to be used in prototype development and application development
• Takes initial guidance provided by UX Lead and/or Interaction Designer and works independently or with peers to complete work
• Understands target users' needs, tasks, and goals and applies that understanding to the work
• Develops user experience concepts and solutions through visualizations with moderate to minimal direction
• Uses digital standards and style guides to ensure design consistency across the enterprise
