Position Summary
The Informatica Administrator position within the Enterprise Data group is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, patching, administration, performance tuning, upgrading of Informatica Power Center and MDM environments. The Informatica Administrator will define, develop and document standardized monitoring procedures for data integration processes.

Principal Responsibilities
Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the Informatica suite of products including but not limited to PowerCenter, Messaging Queues, Web Services (Oracle), Power Exchange for VSAM, Power Exchange for IDMS, Power Exchange for Oracle, Data Quality, MDM, Dynamic Data Masking, IDQ, Data Archive, and Test Data Management
Installation, migration, configuration, maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting of Informatica Server implementations
Ability to prioritize and resolve multiple complex/critical issues and provide performance and tuning solutions to development teams
Addresses system defects and implements enhancements to existing functionality
Contribute to both application functionality and capacity requirements in a rapidly growing, changing and complex environment
Coordinate and prioritize all escalated activities, including testing, implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes
Maintains productive working relationships with project sponsors and key systems users
Participate in and contribute to the implementation of best practices and standards for the Data Integration environment including Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
Point of contact for creating a case with Informatica Vendor and work closely with the Vendor until closure of the issue
Troubleshoots issues with minimal guidance, identifies bottlenecks in existing data workflows and provides solutions for a scalable, defect-free application
Works with onshore/offshore team to analyze, develop and improve run times as well as produce accurate defect free code
Complies with Company policy and practices relating to the System Development Life Cycle
Provides Tier 3 support and resolution of IT issues escalated by IT Customer Support
Support audit and compliance reporting requests.
Support the operation of Informatica products on a 24/7 basis as needed
Participate in on-call support 24x7 weekly rotation of the operation of Informatica
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent

3 years' experience with product implementation and administration of ETL with concentration on the Informatica suite of products (MDM/IDQ/PWC)
3 years' experience working with data warehousing, ETL development and ETL architecture
3 years' experience combined experience with database technologies such as (RDBMS: MSSQL, MySQL Oracle; NoSQL: MarkLogic, DynamoDB, Redis)
2 years' experience as an Informatica PowerCenter Administrator
Ability to conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality
Ability to interact with IT and business users across the organization to resolve issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to prioritize and resolve multiple complex/critical issues and provide performance and tuning solution
Assist in determining the impact of operational issues and provide input into their resolution via data extraction and quantification
Experience in creating presentation on installation and upgrade, publish technical documentation, run books and environment release guides
Experience in Production level support for onshore and offshore teams during their development life cycle
Experience working with job scheduler and monitoring tools

Innovative and creative person who has developed new approaches to developing infrastructure solutions
Knowledge of Middleware packages (WebSphere, WebLogic, WebMethods, Tomcat or Tibco, etc.) is a plus
Knowledge on Informatica OS Profiling and Informatica cloud (IICS)
Knowledge on Native and LDAP authentications (users, groups management, and providing required privileges on the Domain/Repository/Folder level)
Knowledge on UNIX Shell Scripting
Strong analytical skills and focus on bottom-line results
Strong skills to query Informatica Repository Metadata Tables/Views
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics or closely related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
3 years of hands on experience with Informatica MDM
2 years of hands on experience with Informatica Power Center
2 years of experience with Informatica Data Quality software toolset, including development, installation, configuration, maintenance, enhancement, and support
