Description
Duties: What you'll do:
Lead an Agile application development team from backlog grooming and planning activities through development, testing, and release deployment with responsibility for all aspects of a teams' productivity.
Lead the Agile cadence activities within the Client Scrum framework, ensuring participation from team members and key stakeholders.
Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Remove impediments or guides the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
Shield the team from outside distractions and interferences
Develop and manage team release plans and sprint plans.
Monitor, review and maintain the sprint backlog and product backlog in coordination with business product owner and other team members.
Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency
Maintain visual progress metrics indicating velocity, burn-down, etc.
Run retrospectives and drive the team to implement the process improvements identified during those meetings.
Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible
Coach the team on Agile practices and continues to work with the team to build maturity

Skills: What you've done:
Five years of experience in Agile Methodologies with a minimum of three years in the Scrum Master role.
Five years of project management or software development management experience.
Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Effective leadership, coaching and collaboration skills.
CSM (Certified SCRUM Master) or ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) certification.

What you'll need to succeed:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, MIS or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated confidence and professionalism in approach.
Self-directed and self-motivated.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
Ability to make decisions
Ability to communicate your ideas and solutions in simple language (business jargon not needed) to your team, and executives
